Treehugger Vases In this collection I use actual imprints of my favorite trees in Atlanta. Trees are firm, solid, stately, serene. Their bark is like a membrane; a filter through which the tree is protected from, and interacts with, its environment. I want people to consciously evaluate their membrane: is it filtering too much; letting too much of the outer world in; or shutting too much of it out? Inspired by a Reiki course I took. product lines Hope Angels Each angel is sculpted by hand by the artist. They measure from 6" to 12" and are made of pure English porcelain. They started taking shape in 2003 as a means of reclaiming the expensive medium from wheel-thrown vases. The recycled souls have been attracting many earthly ones and are being loved heavenly.
